The poem, ‘The Grumble family’ portrays the life of a discontented family. This family complains about everything in life. They live in a complaining street. Nobody likes to meet them. They grumble at everything from seasons to everyday chores. They complain about the rain and the sun. The family shows their resentment for the good and the bad. They are glum and never stop growling. The poet advises us to keep away from such people and never walk in their street because we may acquire the qualities of the grumblers. The poet wants us to lead the life with positive attitude and walk away all odds with a smile and a song.
